About

Hello!

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the world.  First and foremost, I am a sinner who has been saved by the gift of grace from God.   I am a 20 year veteran teacher who  retired to homeschool my step-children.  All of our kids have grown up and left home, except the youngest, who is a high school senior, taking a full college load.

Much has happened during this time: stroke,  heart surgery, and the death of a child, BUT GOD has also brought so much joy to our lives.  The stroke brought about a new career that started as a fun hobby, the heart surgery found that the genetic heart disease had not reached my heart and was contained to my arteries.  It has also given me a wake up call to be more aware of my health.  Losing a child is something that leaves scars on your heart, but it makes you take notice of the true finality of life and how important it is to keep on loving others enough to share the Truth of God’s Word with them.

My amazing, godly husband and I will soon be married nine years.  I have been truly blessed with these being some of the happiest years of my life.

My hobbies are teaching women’s discipleship, Bible study, Digital Scrapbooking, photography, music, crafting, and gardening.  I am now a Tennessee Master Gardener and so excited about all I have learned and am continuing to learn.

This blog has been a work in progress, slooww progress and often neglected and put on the back burner, but this is where I share some of my Bible Studies, Homeschool lessons, Crafts, Arts, Gardening tips, and Recipes.

I am now a digital Scrapbook Designer and owner of Moore Blessings Digital Design.  I still have a few craft items, along with educational items and digital designs in my Etsy shop.

Ephesians 2:4-10
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Lori, it was so very interesting to take a walk through your world here in the quiet after a night of rather ferocious thunder, lightening and more rain than I could imagine. Our giant, thirsty trees here in the yard are so very grateful. I trust your return to Tennessee went well.
Meeting you and your family was enriching for me, and I look forward to seeing your photos of the wedding when you get them posted.
Give my best to your 3 growing ones at your house. May they continue their blossoming.

    Best, Sandy
