Chocolate Cobbler- Slow-Cooker Version

This weekend, we had a crock-pot fellowship meal at church.  I have never taken my Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cobbler and wanted to take one in my slow cooker.

I had so many compliments on the cobbler, I wanted to share.  Please read the entire recipe before starting.  You will need BOILING water, so get it ready.  I hope you enjoy it as much as we did:

Slow-Cooker Chocolate Cobbler

In a 2.5 qt. slow cooker, melt 1/2 stick butter.

In a seperate bowl mix together:

1 1/2 cup self-rising flour

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons cocoa

1/2 cup milk

1 Tablespoon vanilla

Pour into slow-cooker, over butter.

In a small bowl mix together:

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup cocoa

Sprinkle the dry mix over the batter.  DO NOT STIR!

Pour 2 1/2 cups of boiling water over the top.  Again, DO NOT STIR!

Cover and cook on high 2-3 hours.
